Storage Predictions from Fortiva
SaaS skeptics will reconsider their security concerns.
Until now, IT departments have been skeptical about software as a service (SaaS) for a few key reasons, including security issues. As IT departments realize that many of their security concerns have been addressed and that SaaS can offer significant advantages in terms of cost and speed of deployment, they will increasingly include these solutions in their storage vendor reviews.
Escalating data center costs will lead more businesses to choose SaaS storage solutions.
SaaS has a major operational and cost advantage. SaaS storage solutions can provide a degree of redundancy that would be cost-prohibitive for most businesses to achieve on their own.
