Coremetrics released Coremetrics 2008, the latest version of its comprehensive digital marketing suite. The new release introduces “contextual marketing” – the ability to identify and target the most valuable customers based on both individual traits and lifetime visits and behavior. Coremetrics 2008 provides significant enhancements, allowing businesses to more accurately target the most valuable customer sectors, based on a wide variety of criteria that can be layered to develop very refined segments.

 

Gilbert Systems announced the launch of its product Proclivity. Proclivity is a platform that helps Gilbert Systems’ clients anticipate and predict customer behavior in order to drive their marketing efforts. Proclivity is an adaptive platform that analyzes a customer’s online activity and identifies his/her interests in various merchandise in order to determine future purchasing behavior with unprecedented accuracy. Proclivity uses probability indices to identify customers that are likely to buy a particular product, at a specific price point, within a defined period of time.

 

Informatica Corporation announced a special integration bundle for Salesforce.com customers, the Informatica Integration Pack for Salesforce. The Informatica Integration Pack for Salesforce, available immediately, is a limited-use, subscription-based suite of Informatica products specifically for Salesforce.com customers that enables integration between Salesforce and local/on-premise applications, databases and files. This new offering is comprised of Informatica’s PowerCenter 8 with connectivity to Salesforce and other applications in a simple, easy-to-use offering that allows companies to address their various Salesforce integration needs at a compelling price point.

 

Initiate Systems, Inc. announced the introduction of its Initiate Master Data Service version 8.0, which is a comprehensive master data management platform that delivers single, trusted and complete versions of critical data assets in real-time to the people, processes and applications that rely on them. Initiate Master Data Service, which is an advancement of the Company’s Initiate Identity Hub software, serves as a platform for organizations to apply master data management techniques to the business problems and needs of specific markets.

 

MEGA International introduced the new MEGA Modeling Suite, which offers dynamically generated, multi-dimensional analysis reporting on topics such as service-oriented architecture (SOA), application architecture and roadmapping to facilitate improved business intelligence; confidentiality management tools to control access to information; and end-to-end management of SOA. They also introduced MEGA Advisor, a software solution that extends dynamic Web-based intelligent reporting on strategic information to an entire corporate organization, beyond modeling users.

 

Microsoft Corp. has launched Microsoft Office PerformancePoint Server 2007, an application that enables companies to drive performance through monitoring, analyzing and planning their business using one integrated solution. With Office PerformancePoint Server 2007, Microsoft is building on its existing business intelligence solution to enable companies to drive strategy development, alignment and accountability across the entire organization.

 

Oracle announced the general availability of Oracle SQL Developer Release 1.2, which features new capabilities to ease the migration and consolidation of third-party databases onto Oracle Database 11g. Oracle SQL Developer is Oracle's free database development tool that helps users simplify development cycles and improve productivity of creating and debugging SQL and PL/SQL code and now migrate databases to Oracle.

 

Orchestria has introduced the first next-generation data loss prevention (DLP) solution. Orchestria’s new DLP software is a breakthrough in preventing the loss of personally identifiable information and intellectual property through uncontrolled message, Web, and file activity. Orchestria provides coverage across all points of risk within an enterprise, detects violations accurately with minimal false positives, and can proactively block true infractions.

Texas Memory Systems announced the RamSan-500 – an enterprise-class cached flash storage system. The RamSan-500’s cached flash design delivers high read performance and large capacity storage, at a price point that makes solid state disks more affordable than ever before. Solid state storage devices like the new RamSan-500 are deployed to accelerate software applications such as those based on Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle databases.
