New Interfaces Integrated into MEGA International Modeling Software
New IBM WebSphere, Software AG CentraSite and Systar Business Bridge interfaces to the MEGA Modeling Suite will support optimization and control of company assets by linking the deployment of service-oriented architecture (SOA) and business process management (BPM) projects with enterprise architecture information.
These new interfaces (MEGA WID (for IBM WebSphere), MEGA for CentraSite and MEGA BusinessBridge) will permit companies to rapidly integrate their business process modeling efforts into projects such as BPM and SOA and incorporate business activity monitoring (BAM) to validate and optimize these models with actual runtime data.
As more companies automate business processes and develop SOA solutions, they rely further on enterprise architecture (EA) to capture a global picture of their organization's processes and services. By connecting these projects with the descriptions captured within the EA, businesses can more readily facilitate information and process reuse and comply with corporate governance objectives.
Combined with MEGA Advisor, these new interfaces offer businesses truly intelligent reporting because they integrate MEGA BPA and EA information with dynamic indicators from third party tools. Most business process modeling tools only provide an IT centric view on automated processes, but the MEGA Modeling Suite provides a global view of processes in terms of how they produce value for the customer. These so-called value chains are linked to the automated process view or the workflow; ensuring traceability of all connections from business objectives to the IT infrastructure.
