Integration Agreement Between Exeros and Business Objects Up and Running

Exeros, Inc., an innovator in automated data relationship discovery software, and Business Objects , a world-leading provider of business intelligence (BI) solutions, announced the completion of an integration project between Exeros Discovery and BusinessObjects Metadata Manager XI for use in complex heterogeneous data environments. The combined solution will be used to discover and document sensitive and financial data lineage as well as to accelerate time to deployment of data lineage projects.

Exeros Discovery is used to identify data lineage across structured data sources and BusinessObjects Metadata Manager will be used to visualize the lineage of the relationships as well as help companies manage impact analysis that will affect sensitive data.

Exeros Discovery, the latest version of the company's flagship software, is a unique solution which automates the discovery of business rules and hidden sensitive data across multiple systems (such as Social Security numbers "stuffed" into other columns and rows). With this partnership, Exeros DataMapper will automatically populate BusinessObjects Metadata Manager with the business rules and metadata vital for understanding data lineage. This integration will help to significantly lower the cost and time to deployment for data lineage projects.

Exeros Discovery is used by companies to lower the risk and speed the deployment of sensitive data flow discovery and master data management deployment, saving companies thousands of data analyst hours and millions of dollars.

BusinessObjects Metadata Manager XI reduces project costs by consolidating and integrating metadata into an open, relational repository. In addition, Metadata Manager provides impact analysis, which enables users to find the relationships between sources (tables or columns), targets, universes, and documents so they can better understand the impact of changes to source and target systems.
