iWay Software Releases iWay 2007
iWay Software, an Information Builders company and an innovator of enterprise integration solutions, announced the release of iWay 2007. Major enhancements in iWay 2007 are oriented toward increased enterprise scalability and interoperability. The release encompasses new enterprise-class features, including a new version of iWay Service Manager that runs within industry standard application servers, significant enhancement of the iWay SOA Management Suite, and a new incarnation of the iWay Integration Workbench.
iWay Service Manager is an enterprise service bus (ESB) that enables organizations to create, compose, and manage services from the wide variety of systems and technologies available through iWay's industry standard adapters. In addition to running as a standalone server on many platforms, iWay Service Manager can now be deployed within any Java 2 Enterprise Edition (J2EE) compliant application servers, providing greater scalability, improved reliability, enhanced security, and a powerful and flexible distribution mechanism for integration solution scenarios.
iWay SOA Management Suite provides end-to-end management of security, policy enforcement, service monitoring, and validation of services residing within an organization's service-oriented architecture (SOA) infrastructure. Most SOA management products are limited to working strictly with Web services when monitoring the components of an SOA, but iWay SOA Management Suite can now monitor all of the services created from the many applications, technologies, databases, platforms, and protocols that iWay supports.
The iWay Integration Workbench is an integrated development environment for building, monitoring, and managing complex integration solutions. By leveraging the open source Eclipse framework, the iWay Integration Workbench will drastically improve productivity for developers by merging the various components of iWay's robust integration software toolkit into a single development environment.
