Aleri Forms Alliance with Sybase

Aleri, a provider of enterprise class event processing technology, announced an alliance with Sybase that will enable customers to utilize Sybase RAP in trade lifecycle management. The Aleri Streaming Platform together with Sybase RAP provides a robust and comprehensive foundation for capital market solutions across the trade lifecycle. The solution combines high performance event stream processing with scalable and flexible data storage, manipulation, and retrieval capabilities.

Sybase RAP is a solution for capital markets that enables financial institutions to deploy real time analytical applications, increase the profitability of their trading operations and manage real-time market data feeds and credit and collateral risk data. It is an end-to-end, high-performance enterprise-wide solution that delivers in-memory transaction processing and deep historical data analysis. Sybase RAP enables users to accelerate implementation and customize their environment through the use of physical data models and Sybase's industry-leading data modeling tool, Sybase PowerDesigner.

The Aleri Streaming Platform's high level authoring tools and underlying event processing architecture result in a platform that allows a company to rapidly implement and deploy the required business rules for low latency processing of real-time data streams, along with data capture and retention for compliance monitoring and reporting. The combination of the Aleri Streaming Platform and Sybase RAP provides a foundation for solutions including advanced algorithmic trading, real-time risk analysis and aggregation and regulatory and compliance for emerging regulations.

Beyond integrating with each others technology, Aleri and Sybase will be engaging at the marketing and business levels. This will provide both companies with the capabilities to offer clients and prospects with a unified event processing and historic data collection and analysis solution.
