Tangosol, the provider of reliable data grid solutions, announced it was awarded a three-year GSA contract (GS-35F-0131R) by Carahsoft Technology Corp. to provide federal, state and local government agencies with highly scalable and reliable solutions for in-memory data management across data grids.
This agreement permits government agencies to purchase Tangosol Coherence on the GSA Schedule through Carahsoft, an IT solutions provider with an extensive government customer base. The GSA Schedule is the contract vehicle used by government agencies to select vendors, which must meet stringent criteria to be placed on the Schedule.
Under the terms of the agreement, the GSA awarded Tangosol products onto the Carahsoft GSA schedule effective through November 2009.This piece is brought to you by the DM Review editorial staff.
