Loblaw Companies Limited Selects JDA Software
November 12, 2008 - JDA Software Group, Inc. announced that Loblaw Companies Limited, Canadas largest food distributor and a leading provider of drugstore, general merchandise and financial products and services, signed a license agreement to leverage JDA Softwares supply chain solutions.
Loblaw is implementing JDAs supply and demand optimization solutions to further drive optimization and process improvement. Loblaw will also leverage JDA transportation and logistics management solutions to enable the company to proactively manage supplier and carrier relationships, reduce expediting costs and enhance service levels.
Loblaw is focused on improving our core retail processes to enhance the experience of our customers. To that end, our partnership with JDA represents an essential step toward strengthening our ability to drive supply chain enhancements in forecasting, replenishment and transportation, said Catherine Booth, senior vice president, information technology, Loblaw Companies Limited.
