Gallup Organization Selects Oracle Business Intelligence Suite
November 3, 2008 - Gallup, Inc. deployed Oracle Business Intelligence Suite Enterprise Edition (Oracle BI Suite EE) to deliver timely, fact-based information and reports to external and internal clients.
Oracle BI Suite EE is used within Gallup to analyze and query data sourced from its enterprise resource planning (ERP) system the Oracle E-Business Suite specifically from the Oracle Financials, Oracle Marketing and Oracle Sales modules.
Gallups external clients will be ale to benefit from the scalability of the BI platform as well as its dynamic features through the incorporation of interactive charts, graphs and maps within their custom dashboards and reports.
In addition to having greater insight into the business, internal audiences at Gallup also have increased control over what data to analyze, how to analyze the data and how to then consume that data due to the ease of use of Oracle BI Suite EE. The self-service nature of the product has helped to improve access to timely information within Gallup as well as eliminate the need for Gallups IT organization to develop dashboards and reports, according to Oracle.
