Attachmate Unveils Verastream Host Integrator 6.6
September 22, 2008 - Attachmate Corporation unveiled the latest version of its mainframe application integration solution, Attachmate Verastream Host Integrator 6.6.
The new version includes new features and functionality that eliminate the technical complexity and code generation associated with legacy integration, offering IT organizations a low-risk approach to legacy-to-SOA integration. The addition of Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS) validation by the National Institute of Standard and Technology (NIST) provide enhanced security, critical for working with strategic federal government accounts.
Verastream Host Integrator 6.6 provides a flexible, scalable approach to service-oriented application integration that quickly and non-invasively service-enables all types of mainframe and enterprise host functionality. It includes several new additions to enhance the products ability to simplify and speed the participation of mainframe applications in SOAs including:
- Team modeling,
- Native .NET client support,
- FIPS validation,
- WS-I compliant Web services and
- Windows Server 2008 support.
