Greensboro Radiology Selects InterSystems Ensemble
May 5, 2008 - Greensboro Radiology chose InterSystems Ensemble software as its enterprise-wide integration platform.
Greensboro Radiology is a provider of medical diagnostic imaging services and interventional radiology practices in inpatient and outpatient settings.
InterSystems develops and markets database and integration software for connected health care. Its product line includes the InterSystems CACHÉ object database, Intersystems HealthShare platform for regional and national electronic health records and InterSystems Ensemble rapid integration platform.
"Our objective is to eventually offer radiology services any time and anywhere," said Chip Reklis, Greensboro radiology CIO. "That means providing technology that enables our radiologists to operate at optimal efficiency. InterSystems Ensemble is the integration software we picked to help make that happen."
Ensemble was selected after an intensive evaluation of multiple integration software products, according to Reklis. "The fact that Ensemble was rated number one in the KLAS survey weighed heavily in our decision," he said. "And, after reviewing Ensemble's capabilities compared with other products, and consulting with another radiology firm that's a current Ensemble user, we're convinced that Ensemble is the appropriate choice for our organization."
Ensemble will format data coming from multiple systems into a stream of information that will be presented to radiologists as one platform of applications in a single format.
