U.S. Airforce Selects Teksouth
April 28, 2008 - Teksouth Corporation, a systems integrator providing data management and business intelligence systems, was awarded a five-year, $17.2 million contract from the U.S. Air Force to administer a data warehouse.
The decision continues Teksouths decade-long relationship with the Air Force. Teksouth built the data warehousing system, the Commanders Resource Integration System (CRIS) and maintains the system.
The Air Force has come to rely on Teksouths expertise to help it better manage the funds it receives, said Steve Wilsher, Teksouths CEO. With its global presence, the Air Force must be able to quickly analyze huge amounts of financial data. CRIS fulfills that need. Im pleased that Teksouth, with its headquarters here in Alabama, will continue to play a significant role in assisting our government in this key area.
