XAware Data Integration Plug-In for Salesforce Available

March 18, 2008 - XAware, Inc. announced that its open source Plug-in for Salesforce is available on salesforce.com’s AppExchange.

Salesforce.com customers utilize the AppExchange to find additional applications to extend software as a service (SaaS) throughout their business and operational objectives.

XAware’s Plug-in for Salesforce is an open source product that enables users to migrate, manage, share and mashup data from various systems. XAware features an Eclipse-based design environment and also offers an Eclipse plug-in to developers who use Eclipse as their standard development environment.

The XAware Plug-in for Salesforce gives the salesforce.com community immediate access to the open source data integration product for creating and managing composite data services for service-oriented architecture (SOA) and Web 2.0 applications.

Available to all developers under an open source GPL v2 license, XAware enhances development tools and frameworks by building composite data services. These services provide real-time access to information and the ability to abstract, transform, aggregate and mashup data.

Developers use XAware capabilities to create a services-based data virtualization layer, which delivers a single view of data that can be consumed or served up easily.
