FAME Data Powers Pyxis Mobile’s Wireless Solutions

November 12, 2007 – SunGard announced today that FAME market data and time series data management solution is being used to feed Pyxis Mobile wireless software solutions for financial services.

 

FAME data used with Pyxis Mobile applications helps portfolio managers, analysts and financial advisors access market data together with account and holdings information and supports use on both BlackBerry and Microsoft's Windows Mobile operating systems.

FAME aggregates market data, news and financial content from more than 120 third-party and proprietary sources and provides cleansing, enrichment and analytics capabilities. Pyxis Mobile aggregates FAME data into a variety of its mobile solutions for portfolio managers, analysts, traders, compliance officers and financial advisors. It gives users the ability to check market, historical and reference data in conjunction with their holdings and watch lists, while out of the office or away from their desks.
