What are dimension mapping and fact mapping?
Question: What are dimension mapping and fact mapping?
Chuck Kelleys Answer: That depends on how and where it is used. It could be the process of mapping data from the source to its location in either a dimension or fact (assuming the target is a dimensional model). It could be, if they are speaking about Informatica, trying to understand if the code being written/executed is a mapping for a dimension or a fact. Since I dont know the context, I am sorry that I cannot be much help.
