Ottawa, Canada, June 15, 1999 ? OLAP@Work, based on Microsoft SQL Server 7.0 OLAP Services, announced the signing of a seven-figure OEM agreement with Appsource Corporation of Orlando, Florida, a wholly owned subsidiary of Hyperion Solutions Corporation. Appsource will be re-branding OLAP@Work for Excel as Wired Analyzer Excel Edition and integrating it with other components of the Wired for OLAP suite. OLAP@Work provides embedded business intelligence technology that delivers high-end OLAP reporting by taking maximum advantage of the power and flexibility of Microsoft SQL Server 7.0 OLAP Services. The underlying architecture has been developed to facilitate embedding OLAP@Work technology in infrastructure products like Excel and sophisticated business applications.

The relationship between OLAP@Work and Appsource is strategic for both organizations. "Delivering high-end OLAP functionality directly within Microsoft Office is a great way for customers to leverage their existing software and training investments," said Richard Daley, president of Appsource. "Wired Analyzer Excel Edition accomplishes this, extending the proven benefits of the Appsource Wired for OLAP suite to an even larger number of enterprise users."
