Astrum 1.5 from Astrum Software is part of its Active Storage Management (ASM) solution. Major enhancements include support for German, French and U.K. English versions of Microsoft Windows and UNIX operating systems and the ability to proactively manage storage resources for Sybase databases. Other newly released features are support for Microsoft Exchange 2000, new alert messaging capability, and the ability to drill down to the file system level within the GUI for file attribute data. With its new Sybase support, Astrum 1.5 allows companies to centrally monitor, report on, and proactively manage storage resources for all Sybase installations. Astrum 1.5 includes both proactive and reactive management tools that allow customers to achieve the availability levels required for mission-critical Sybase environments.

The new features enable companies to seamlessly integrate a customer self-service and support application into any Web page environment with zero limitations on customization levels. KnowledgeBase Solutions also unveiled two new add-on features, the KB Portal Builder and the KB Global Language Pack.
