Lawson Software Acquires Keyola

Lawson Software Inc. is acquiring Keyola, a Florida-based developer of business intelligence technology. The acquisition of the privately held company is effective immediately. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Lawson says Keyola's collaborative business intelligence technology will enhance Lawson Smart Notification, a configurable, collaborative solution that delivers information, is user defined and can be received via PDA, e-mail, voice, text messages and wireless devices. The eight employees of Keyola are now employed by Lawson and will remain part of the company's product development team.
