MapInfo ImagePro US from MapInfo Corporation offers easy-to-use, high-resolution aerial photography that can be incorporated into a variety of applications for real-world views of specific locations and areas. McDATA Corp. and QLogic Corp. announced a joint program for interoperability between the companies' switch products. This program builds on the successful FC-SW-2 switch compatibility already achieved by the two companies. The program sets a baseline for further enhanced interoperability features such as mixed fabric security functions and zoning through management applications such as McDATA's SANavigator software platform. Data Quality Web Service from Melissa Data is an Internet data verification service for real-time batch and point-of-entry address verification. Addresses are matched to monthly updates of the USPS file of 128 million deliverable addresses for accuracy and deliverability It returns the verified and corrected records in a standardized format with ZIP+4, carrier route and delivery point codes and can also append county and time zone information, address type, congressional district and MSA/PMSA code for each address. Utilizing an XML interface provides users of almost any platform, including Windows, UNIX and Macintosh, with an easy solution to achieving quality contact information.
