If the soothsayers are right, corporations are developing a big appetite for enterprise portal applications. A new study published by The Radicati Group finds that combined revenues for enterprise portal software and portal components will top $1.8 billion by 2005, compared to $383 million in 2001.
Leading factors for enterprise portal market growth are the need to categorize and unify corporate information, the wider deployment of the Internet and improved integration solutions.
