DataWarehouse.com Community Surpasses 10,000 Members

    Press Release published in DMReview.com
April 4, 2001

New York - April 4, 2001 - DataWarehouse.com, the industry's most advanced community for data warehousing and business intelligence professionals, has surpassed the 10,000-member mark and achieved other first-year objectives. The list of accomplishments includes enabling community members to interact directly with industry luminaries such as Bill Inmon, Ron Swift and Mark Sweiger, who answer their real-world implementation questions during regularly scheduled chats.

"We launched dataWarehouse.com in August 2000 with every intention of creating an online community that completely serves the needs of the industry," says EC Media Group Vice President Ron Powell. "The fact that more than 10,000 members are now using the community to meet their ongoing professional and business needs tells us that we're getting the job done."

DataWarehouse.com has six charter member companies that have provided invaluable resources and guidance. The charter members are: Ascential, BMC, Compaq, NCR, SAP and Trillium. "We would like to thank the charter members for all the hard work they've done in making dataWarehouse.com a success," says Michael Anderson, editor of dataWarehouse.com. "They have certainly helped to shape the site's vision and style."

The editors, Web developers and sales and marketing professionals at DM Review Interactive are committed to constantly improving the Web's premier community for data warehousing and business intelligence professionals. At dataWarehouse.com, industry professionals can access a wide variety of quality online editorial content and take advantage of other features such as open discussion forums, an interactive research and information center and live trade shows.

"We're having a great first year and we are very excited about reaching 10,000 members," Anderson says. "We look forward to making dataWarehouse.com an even more valuable tool for our growing membership."
