Megaputer Intelligence Inc. announced joining the Microsoft Data Warehousing Alliance as the first platinum member in the data mining provider category with its PolyAnalyst 4.2 data mining tool. Platinum members of the alliance meet the highest requirements and provide tools featuring deeper integration with data warehousing applications. PolyAnalyst 4.2 provides eleven machine learning algorithms and an elaborate support for the new OLE DB for data mining protocol which ensure the platinum membership level for Megaputer in the Data Warehousing Alliance.

"We consider our participation in the Microsoft Data Warehousing Alliance to be a strategic move by Megaputer toward offering users of applications produced by other members of the alliance an opportunity to utilize advanced data mining capabilities offered by PolyAnalyst with a minimal effort," said Sergei Arseniev, director of business development, Megaputer Intelligence. "The Megaputer team is proud to be the first platinum member of the alliance in the data mining provider category."
