Pinnacle Solutions, Inc. Renames Itself and Launches ThinkFast Consulting, Inc.

Pinnacle Solutions, Inc., one of the largest full service provider of integrated business intelligence (BI) solutions, introduced the introduction of its new name, ThinkFast Consulting, Inc.

The selection of the name "ThinkFast" further extends the organization's commitment to quickly leverage information as a strategic asset by providing fast access to relevant and structured information sources through the use of market-proven analytical applications integrated with data warehouse repositories. By viewing information as a competitive tool, organizations can more proactively respond to ever-changing competitive landscapes, while integrating all sources of information about customers, suppliers and partners in a consistent and easy-to- use format. ThinkFast will focus on delivering to customers a "single-source" solution focused on tying overall business strategy to BI technologies for the rapid return on technology investments made by high-growth organizations in the business-to-business and business-to-consumer markets.

"This is an opportune time for ThinkFast to distinguish itself with a strategic naming move," said Tom Phelps, president of ThinkFast Consulting, Inc. "We are extending our established practices in data warehouse and analytical applications while bolstering our fast-growing areas of Web, CRM and ERP analytics. By leveraging the knowledge generated from both e-commerce and ERP- systems and customizing them into easy-to-use frameworks, organizations gain a consolidated view of their customers and operations to better analyze, predict and change with greater effectiveness in the marketplace."

E-CRM Training Course to be Offered in July

"Managing Customer Relationships in Financial Institutions," an e-CRM training course, will be offered July 24-25 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The course, sponsored by PriceWaterhouseCoopers, is geared to the senior financial services executives who require clear and concise understanding of CRM and its application within the financial services industry. The course will examine specific industry challenges, regulatory obstacles and the competitive trends that will determine the successful client service organizations of the future. The focus will be on issues facing wealth management, private banking and securities brokerage organizations seeking to implement or improve their client-facing strategy while integrating e-solutions with traditional delivery mechanisms.

Historically, customer relationship management (CRM) strategies were developed for maintaining profitable customer relations. Today's enhanced CRM model is being enhanced to meet the demands of Web-savvy clients in an e-commerce world. The e-commerce revolution is creating an evolution from the previous CRM perspective of managing the consumer relationship to an enhanced customer managed relationship (CMR) strategy empowering consumers to manage their relationships when, how and where they choose.

XACCT and FileTek Partner to Provide Carrier-Class CRM to Service Providers

XACCT Technologies, a leading provider of intelligent business infrastructure solutions for IP networks, and FileTek, Inc., a leading supplier of database software for managing massive amounts of data, announced a strategic alliance. Under the terms of the agreement, XACCT and FileTek will integrate their software products to provide service providers with customer relationship management (CRM) solutions.

"FileTek's StorHouse software complements our XACCTusage solution because of its extensive data storage and management capabilities," said Frank D'Angelo, director of market development at XACCT Technologies.
