Minneapolis, Minn. and New York, N.Y., May 18, 2000 ? Andersen Consulting, a leading global management and technology consultancy, and Adaytum, a leading provider of business planning solutions, announced that they have formed an alliance to market and co-develop business planning solutions to organizations throughout the world.

Under the agreement, Andersen Consulting will add Adaytum e.Planning, a Web- based business planning and forecasting solution, to its suite of offerings for the finance and performance management marketplace. The Adaytum e.Planning solution is a high-participation collaborative planning solution, allowing companies real-time access to corporate planning information via their Web browsers. Andersen Consulting and Adaytum will work jointly to develop market- specific offerings that leverage Andersen Consulting's industry expertise and Adaytum's e.Planning solution platform.

"The extensive commitment that Andersen Consulting is making to our organization and technology speaks volumes about their high regard for the Adaytum e.Planning solution," said Guy Haddleton, chief executive officer of Adaytum. "We believe that the synergy of our two organizations will create stronger planning solutions and a more compelling value proposition."
