Mountain View, Calif., March 15, 2000 ? AlphaBlox Corporation, a provider of an open, Web-based platform for delivering analytical applications that optimize e-business efficiency, announced that it has signed a reseller agreement with Hyperion, aleader in business analysis software. Under the terms of the new agreement, Hyperion will resell the AlphaBlox Analysis Suite with its market leading Hyperion Essbase OLAP Server throughout North America. This reseller agreement expands an existing cooperative marketing and development agreement established between AlphaBlox and Hyperion in 1998.

The addition of AlphaBlox Analysis Suite enables Hyperion to provide organizations with a robust platform for rapidly deploying customized, Web- based business analysis applications for e-business, customer relationship management, supply chain and financial management. The expanded partnership enables AlphaBlox to leverage Hyperion's market leadership position to more quickly fulfill the demands of the B2B analytic applications market. The combined solution enables customers and partners to quickly realize the benefits of Web-based, OLAP applications that are broadly deployed to users across corporate intranets, extranets and the Internet.
