San Jose, CA - September 2, 1999 -- DM Review and World Research's BI/DW Research Program announce a cooperative research initiative designed to produce a series of comprehensive reports on the Business Intelligence and Data Warehouse (BI/DW) industry. The research objective will be to identify the major trends, issues and growth areas in the systems, software and service segments of the business intelligence and data warehousing markets.

The technologies of business intelligence and data warehousing enable organizations to implement strategic business processes such as ERP, decision support, customer relationship management and knowledge management. These business critical technologies have become key to maintaining competitiveness for many corporations worldwide.
