AbTech Introduces an Affordable Data Mining Tool for Small to Mid-Size Direct Marketers

Charlottesville, Va., July 19, 1999 - AbTech Corporation announced MarketMiner Express, an affordably priced data mining product that allows direct marketers mailing as little as 10,000 pieces per year to realize an almost immediate return on investment. At a price of $1,195, MarketMiner Express enables almost any direct mailer to begin seeing benefits that were previously reserved for those that could afford to pay $30,000 to $100,000 for a data mining product.

MarketMiner Express has a new "wizard" interface that makes it easy to use, and it automatically produces a comprehensive set of reports providing the user with all the information they need to realize a 20 to 60 percent increase in response rates and profits. With the interface, the user selects the data to analyze, identifies the data fields and answers a few simple questions. The product then does all of the mining and produces an analysis package that contains an executive summary, recommendations and a series of charts, tables and graphs. MarketMiner Express requires Windows 95, 98 or NT and 48MB RAM. It complements AbTech's more advanced MarketMiner Analyst ($6,950) and MarketMiner Expert ($30,000) products.
