Asaca Corporation introduced the new OSVault high-performance network archive server (NAS) storage appliance. Designed to provide disk speed access and transparent connectivity to Asaca's TeraCart optical libraries, the OSVault features dual gigabit Ethernet ports and can be scaled up to 12 terabytes per server providing nearline access to oversized files.

Cartesis, a specialist in finance and performance management, launched Cartesis 10, a business performance management (BPM) solution that integrates internal and external financial data for publication, benchmarking and M&A planning. Through a new partnership with EDGAR Online, Cartesis customers will now be able to pull external financial data into a single integrated BPM suite to measure against and run what-if scenarios.

Globalstor Data announced that the ExtremeStor-iNAS is now shipping with its new 64 bit iSCSI + NAS operating system. The iNAS offers small to medium enterprises the flexibility of 12, 16, 24, or 36 bay systems that can be configured with either 250GB or 500GB hot-swappable SATA (serial advanced technology attachment) hard drives for scalable capacity ranging from 3TB to 18TB of raw storage.

Grid-Tools, a test data management company, released GT Datamaker Version 1.9, a database test data subsetting, anonymising and generation product. GT Datamaker is designed to automatically create data to aid testing of complex database applications and can either create data with referential and application integrity or anonymise production data, cleansing it of personal and confidential information to ensure compliance with legislation.

Heroix, a provider of application performance management software, announced a major upgrade to its Longitude agentless performance monitoring and reporting software. Longitude V3's new functionality increases agentless monitoring by enabling IT teams to manage critical applications more effectively with minimal effort and lower costs. The release addresses strategic performance monitoring issues aimed at helping customers comprehend the business impact of technology performance problems.

Initiate Systems Inc. released Initiate Identity Hub 7 software, an accurate, scalable and rapidly implemented customer data integration (CDI), enterprise master person index (EMPI) and entity resolution solution. The new version adds many new features for customers who want to create complete customer, patient and entity views, including those from data across multiple distributed source systems with different business owners.

Inxight Software, a provider of enterprise software solutions for information discovery, announced the general availability of Inxight SmartDiscovery Extraction Server (SDX), a massively scalable solution for text analytics in more than 30 languages. This powerful, linearly scalable platform system delivers Inxight's high-fidelity ThingFinder extraction capabilities enable publishers, government organizations and enterprises to extract key entities from terabytes of unstructured text.

KANA Software, Inc, a multichannel customer service company, announced KANA IQ 9.1, a new version of the company's solution for enterprise knowledge management and customer service optimization. This release features new workflow capabilities for managing the process of translating and maintaining knowledge base content in multiple languages. The software also offers new knowledge base revision management capabilities.

Noetix Corp., a software provider that generates business intelligence (BI) content from enterprise applications, announced the availability of Noetix Dashboard 3.5, which includes new features to facilitate and accelerate large scale enterprise deployments. Noetix also introduced Noetix Platform 5.5 and NoetixViews 5.6 for Oracle E-Business Suite, which includes new features, enhancements and content to optimize BI reporting.

Oracle released Oracle CRM On Demand Release 10, which is based on Siebel's hosted CRM application, delivers a comprehensive CRM solution for companies seeking powerful sales, marketing and service functionality. Oracle CRM On Demand is both rapidly deployable and cost-effective, in a secure, hosted environment. Release 10 provides enhanced customization capabilities for companies of all sizes.

Scentric, announced a new class of information and data management products to help customers deal with the demands of regulatory compliance and data growth. Through Scentric Destiny, enterprises will not be limited to focusing on a single data type or a patchwork of point solutions that often result in large information gaps.
