Exstream Software, Inc. announced the general availability of AFP Batch Compare software, which allows users to compare advanced function presentation (AFP) rendered files for more accurate comparison of large print files prior to running production processes. This capability eliminates the need for manual comparison, saving time, reducing errors and improving document accuracy down to a single printer element.

IBM announced a major upgrade to IBM WebSphere Portal designed to help customers make better decisions and execute transactions with greater speed and accuracy. The new version simplifies working with composite applications, making it faster and easier for businesses to realize the benefits of integrated applications and reusable services. This version of WebSphere Portal includes a workflow builder, enabling business process owners to create and modify departmental workflows to meet their needs.

IFS, an enterprise applications company, launched IFS Applications 7, which enables enterprise agility so that organizations can take advantage of rapidly changing international market conditions. The new release gives enterprises a service-oriented architecture (SOA) with reusable business components designed for improved user productivity, faster implementation, lower total cost of ownership (TCO) and easier upgrades.

Open Text Corporation, a provider of enterprise content management software, announced a major expansion of its suite of email management solutions, with new compliance features that will help customers meet tough email regulations in industries such as financial services as well as address internal requirements for email monitoring. Open Text is offering the new features as part of Livelink ECM - Email Monitoring.

Revelation Software released OpenInsight for Linux (OIL) Version 7.2.1. New functionality includes OIL's DataSet Object, which is implemented within the product's visual client/server workspace, an environment in which developers create and manage database components using a collection of visual tools. These tools include a query window, a SQL script-building assistant, a database connection builder, a dataset object definition tool and a data warehousing module.

SSA Global, a provider of enterprise business software solutions and services, announced the launch of SSA Marketing 7.0, a marketing application suite designed to integrate inbound and outbound marketing initiatives. The new solution introduces enhancements to help companies optimize interactions with customers across multiple inbound and outbound channels.

Stellent, Inc., a provider of content management solutions, launched Stellent Universal Records Management, a new application built on a distributed architecture that enables companies to apply records and retention policies in a consistent, legally defensible way across the enterprise. Stellent Universal Records Management allows organizations to define, manage and execute records and retention management policies for all enterprise content from a single application.

Trillium Software, a division of Harte-Hanks and a provider of Total Data Quality solutions, announced the release of TS Quality Version 10.0, Enterprise Services Edition (ESE). TS Quality Version 10.0 ESE is engineered specifically to meet the ever-increasing demands of enterprise-strength data quality solutions.
