Systinet Chooses Ipedo to Enhance SOA Platform

    Online News published in DMReview.com
December 22, 2005

Systinet, a provider of solutions for SOA governance and service lifecycle management, will embed Ipedo's XML database and query technology in the forthcoming Systinet SOA platform. Systinet will leverage Ipedo to allow its customers to better organize, understand and manage their SOA information.

Systinet products include solutions for managing the breadth of SOA information. Systinet provides a unified, standards-based approach to defining, understanding and using SOA information, ensuring consistency throughout the SOA. The Systinet family of products provides an integrated platform to organize, understand, and manage enterprise SOA for applications for governance, lifecycle management and services discovery.

"Our customers need a way to ensure SOA quality, consistency, and visibility, all key design points for our products," said Luc Clement, Program Director, Systinet. "Ipedo was the best choice to ensure that our SOA product has the platform independence, agility and query flexibility to meet our customers' business needs. Ipedo was the only vendor that met all our rigorous technical requirements."

Ipedo provides Systinet with advanced Ipedo XML database and query capabilities, allowing for both storage and XQuery processing of XML documents, including WSDLs, XML Schemas, policies, contracts, taxonomies, and business services. This will allow the Systinet SOA platform to search, analyze and update these documents across large, distributed SOA implementations.
