BEZ Systems Announces Proactive Performance Management Platform

BEZ Systems announced the Proactive Performance Management (PPM) platform for measuring and managing the delivery of IT services to business users. The PPM platform will form the core of a family of products under the name BEZProphet which measure and manage critical segments of application service delivery.

PPM provides IT management with the necessary information to align goals with those of the business and to quickly adjust those goals as business requirements evolve and change.

The PPM platform will provide a consistent set of features to the BEZProphet product family, including: hands free 'set-and-forget' operation, service-oriented data gathering, line of business performance footprinting, BEZ exclusive profiling and forecasting, What- if analyses, a personalized Service Performance Dashboard, and flexible exception alerting.

"Businesses are well served now by vendors that provide performance tools for infrastructure components. However, the PPM platform focuses on service delivery to the business. Service delivery is the primary flashpoint between Business and IT" said Dan Haley, CEO and President of BEZ Systems. "By measuring and managing service delivery by line of business we're emphasizing the importance of business - IT alignment."

At the core of the PPM platform is a profiling and prediction engine that gathers performance data from the environment and continuously builds and calibrates individual service delivery profiles by user-defined lines-of-business. These comprehensive profiles measure current vs. planned service delivery and can be manipulated in real time to provide a near term forward-looking views of possible service breaches that helps IT management understand and manage change by anticipating performance problems before they become major performance crises.
